Before you start the task of dismantling the laser you may want to read these instructions from Sharplan.
As you will see the process is complicated, so if you have no training in Sharplan tube removal you may want to relay this job to an experienced Biotech.
Depending of the serial number of your system and its date of manufacture, there are two sets of tube removal instructions :
We do not have anything to add to the above instructions other than ;
1- 'please be careful'. There are glass nipples sticking out of the body of the tube covering pins that can BREAK without you even noticing it.
2- After tube refill and installation you will need to do alignment of the red beam and the CO2 beam through the articulated arm.
Once you have the naked tube in your hand we can give you some guidance on how to package it in order to send it for gas refill.
